Stingray Rising Stars

Featuring four days of panel sessions, networking opportunities and live performances, the Mundial Montreal world music summit can help catapult the careers of emerging artists from around the globe. This year’s edition, held from Nov. 13-16, was especially rewarding for Canada’s own Silla and Rise.

As part of our partnership with Women in Music Canada, we had the pleasure of welcoming a talented young artist from Toronto, Mackenta, for a full day of mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Aux termes d’une finale captivante à la Maison symphonique, devant un public conquis et ravi, l’édition 2018 du Concours OSM Manuvie s’est terminée samedi soir, le 17 novembre, avec la consécration du lauréat du Grand Prix : Carter Johnson.

Chaque année l’Opéra de Montréal, fidèle partenaire de Stingray Musique, accueille de nouveau talents dans le cadre de l’Atelier Lyrique.

C’est dans la salle comble du MTelus (anciennement le Métropolis) qu’a eu lieu le 14e Premier Gala de l’ADISQ. Pour l’occasion, Marie-Mai et Yann Perreau ont animé pour la première fois cette soirée si attendue avec brio.  

This year’s BreakOut West Festival took place from October 10 to 14, 2018 in beautiful Kelowna, BC. BreakOut West is an annual gathering to celebrate, develop and support the best of western Canadian music.

Folk Music Ontario's 2018 conference and Awards took place from September 27-30 in Mississauga Ontario. We were there to award a Stingray Rising Stars award.

Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival takes place each year in Fredericton's beautiful and historic downtown. This year Stingray Music was honoured to sponsor again the Stingray Rising Stars competition.

The 2018 CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) Awards are now officially in the record books. The awards happened in Hamilton, Ontario over three nights, September 7 – 9. Stingray Music was there to participate in the ceremonies as a perennial sponsor of the CCMA under our Stingray Rising Stars program.
