For the second year in a row, Kelly Clarkson was the host of this year’s Billboard Music Awards ceremony held in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019.

Several artists were performing that night, including Taylor Swift (who opened the show), Kelly Clarkson, Halsey, BTS, the Jonas Brothers, Madonna and Maluma, as well as Mariah Carey – who was also awarded the Icon award during the ceremony.
